Kristen Barner

Once upon a time, Kristen lived in Americus as she trained to be an International Partner with Habitat for Humanity. “We got paid every Friday with Piggly Wiggly gift checks.” Americus has grown since then, and so has she. This new-fangled thing called “the internet” allows Kristen to be of service to Client First and to work as a Personal Lines Customer Service Assistant. Kristen is a spinal stroke survivor and an outspoken advocate for people with disabilities and enforcement of the Americans with Disabilities Act. She is also an Ordained Minister in the United Church of Christ, a wedding minister, wife of David who is a Shakespearean actor, mom of two zany dogs, and Kirk’s sister. Kristen marvels at the work Kirk and the team do and is inspired by the compassionate nature of what could otherwise be a cold industry. It is a privilege to be welcomed into this necessary and extraordinary work Client First offers to the community.
